Cherry Ginger Smoothie
- 1/2 inch piece fresh ginger
- 1 cup cherries, frozen
- 1 date, pitted
- 1 cup fresh spinach or use any other greens
- 1 cup water
- Place all items in a blender and mix on high speed until smooth. Add extra liquid and/or ice until you reach desired consistency.
Alternative: If necessary, you may substitute ½ banana for the date.
