Chair yoga is the perfect exercise for those that are not comfortable practicing on the floor. It’s a great way to improve posture, increase flexibility, and improve balance while avoiding injury. Chair yoga offers a practical alternative, as it deepens flexibility and strengthens personal body awareness. The more you practice with a chair the more confident you feel at balancing and getting up and down from the floor. To practice at home choose a chair that is sturdy and preferably arm-less.
