  • 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup organic all-purpose or gluten free flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk or soy milk
  • 1/4 cup grapeseed oil


  1. Preheat oven to 400-degrees F.
  2. Combine wet ingredients, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Whisk until well combined. Slowly add dry ingredients and whisk to a consistency that is thin enough to go through a slotted spoon but not too watery. Add water if the mix is too thick. Pour mixture into skillet.
  3. Bake for 20-22 mins.
