Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 15.5 oz cans organic chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
  • 5 cloves garlic (peeled)
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Directions

  1. Brown the peeled garlic in 2 tsp olive oil on low heat
  2. Chop when cooled
  3. Place all ingredients in a food processor; pulse and scrape bowl often to mix
  4. Add more lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
