Alison Lively

Master Health Coach

Alison is a Master Level Health Coach specializing in older adult wellness. With 18 years experience as a natural health consultant, she has helped thousands of people of all ages make healthy lifestyle changes to reach their full potential. Combining her background in social sciences and Naturopathic studies, her personal mission is to support people in becoming the best versions of themselves.

In 2018, Alison and her twin sister, Alicia, realized there was a big gap in the health and wellness industry. In their research, they discovered that very little information catered to older adults. After watching their formerly vibrant grandmother slip into depression and decline at a “retirement home,” they began to formulate what would become their life’s work: the Best Years Group, an online resource center for older adults.

Alison believes that our older adult generation shouldn’t have to struggle to find meaning and fulfillment after retirement. Instead of “giving in” to the current culture of aging, Alison is dedicated to helping seniors grow WHOLE, instead of old; helping them to live their best years yet!

Alison’s passions include psychology of change behavior, positive psychology, lifestyle science, teaching, advocating for seniors, playing the mandolin, being in nature, and her own personal development. She is an active volunteer with the National Council on Aging and a continuing education course author. She teaches at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Furman University as well as local Senior Action centers.
