Exercise is an important part of healthy aging, but some exercises can be too strenuous. A gentle yoga practice is an excellent low-impact exercise option. Yoga is not only safe for older practitioners, but effective in maintaining mental and physical health. The benefits of yoga for seniors include: improved balance and flexibility, better joint and bone health, reduced stress and a sharper mind!
